I remember being in NH last year and sitting in traffic for 2 hours while people waited in line to enter one. Wow. It looks like fun.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32378954.post-12267882349591533412008-08-13T14:31:00.000-07:002008-08-13T14:31:00.000-07:00Looks like fun. And bonus that it was free, right? =)Kayehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16037837655750384138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32378954.post-41827586352547621802008-08-13T12:31:00.000-07:002008-08-13T12:31:00.000-07:00Angela: all your weirdness sounds normal to me; bu...Angela: all your weirdness sounds normal to me; but then, I'm a little weird myself, LoL:) And I definitely don't want to visualize the corn dog event. hahaha

Mrs.D: It's not needing to know my way around, it's the stimulation issue. I refuse to go to Bullwinkles for the same reason. I'll get a migraine every time.

As far as the snowball goes, you do know I'm very big into the Birthday celebration thing? LoL I just can't keep them simple. We stayed at the fair way too long, then dashed home to frost the cake and head to Grandma's house for the party. Along with a few other things that I really can't mention here. Let's just say it's the roughest time of the month and I should be taking better care of myself. And the garage sale money is my school money so I really need to drag every single thing out that I can to sell. I need much more time than I have right now. And I'm coming to the same conclusion as you that I won't be doing much babysitting anymore; it just has too much influence on when and where I can go. This year schooling has to be my #1 focus.MyKidsMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08829690651886059542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32378954.post-27681386343119285442008-08-13T11:55:00.000-07:002008-08-13T11:55:00.000-07:00I love all fairs. We are fair people! But my dear ...I love all fairs. We are fair people! But my dear husband liked only the state fair. I prefer state but I will take anything. Of course the state fair has all the book authors there. I could spend hours talking to them and theres huge pavilions with thousands of exhibits. Its not really overwhelming if you go often enough and know your way around.

And no, I most decidedly do not like the freebies. They, like Mc Donald toys, have to go in the garbage can upon arriving home unless there is something real. Real things are like pencils. Unreal things are those pins, erasers, stickers, color books, flyers, pinwheels, yakkity yak! Ye Gads how I hate cluttery things.

Anyway having said all that Im itching to go to the fair but what if I only want to go so I can have an elephant ear? Maybe I have to evaluate my reasons here. *ahem*

Okay, I didnt quite get what the snowball was or is it just being busy in general?Mrs. Darlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12911621891840832728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32378954.post-46707394690680724662008-08-13T11:17:00.000-07:002008-08-13T11:17:00.000-07:00I love the fair...but only the county, fair! I do...I love the fair...but only the county, fair! I don't know if I've ever even been to a state fair (although I do love the Rogers and Hammerstein movie State Fair :) When I was younger, I like to go to the fair during the day so I could get a sunburn on my face (I was a weird kid, apparently) and I loved to ride all of the rides. Now I like to go at night (when it's cooler) and just walk around and look at people and eat all kids of greasy, fried foods. So fun! Last year I ate a corn dog and then rode one of the really spin-ey (is that a word? you know what I mean!) rides and I totally got sick afterwards. Yeah, I guess I'm getting old :) Hahaha!!Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04441186934868414604noreply@blogger.com
