What we've been up to

Several weeks ago, I seriously considered putting my blog to rest. At that time, I had decided to go with a completely new set-up for homeschooling (several weeks into the school year), and I knew I probably couldn't do both.

But I couldn't quite do it. I enjoy blogging.. at times. When my mind is actually clear enough to come up with something new to post. It can be a much-needed release and diversion. And I would truly miss my blogging friends who I actually feel like I know in "real" life.

So I'm afraid the best I can do right now is be somewhat sporadic. Being inconsistent (at least in myself) is something I really dislike. But it truly is the best I can do right now.

My kids are doing very well in school; I truly think it's going to be the best year of all our homeschooling years. They love taking music and P.E. classes at a nearby Christian school, and it let's them spend a little time with some good kids. And is a great balance to our homeschooling activities.

But the new schedule really keeps me hopping... in a good way. In between those classes we race home to get work done and so on. The Professor is now doing two instruments, the Princess one.

And who knew fifth grade Science was so hard? My oldest is finally getting into more difficult studies. I knew this would happen one day, and it's actually challenging me as the teacher.

All of this is not to say that I'm busier than anyone else; just busier in a different way than some others. When the late hours roll around when I would normally post on my blog, I'm afraid my bed is winning out. I truly feel at that point that I've given the best of my mind and energy to teaching my kid's for the day.

So I will probably only post a few times a week. And don't expect it to be very interesting:) This will hopefully allow me time to pop into my favorite blogs on a regular basis.

So that's what we've been up to;) I hope you all are having a great week~

Please don't stop blogging! I would miss you too much! I will take whatever you can give, and it may not seem interesting to you, but I bet your faithful readers will think it is.

My personal opinion on my blogging is that I will do it as long as I find it fun. As soon as it's not fun, I will stop. On days when I just don't feel like posting anything, I don't! Does that help?

You know I've been missing you on here, but honestly...I would rather have you around sporadically than not at all! Don't feel pressured to post or even to impress when you post. We love you and just want to see you around from time to time!

However, now that my Silencing the Stones study has started, I expect you to keep up! =) Don't worry...it's only 3 posts a week because it is going to get into some DEEP topics. =)

Seriously...stop by when you can. I'll be checking in on you. Just know that you'll be missed when you aren't around!

Don't feel you have to do it every day. Do it when it feels right. You know that your true friends and readers will be there. I have feed reader so I know when you have updated. I will be here. Family is the first priority and I totally understand the struggle, and I don't even homeschool.

I know EXACTLY how you....except it was the farm work taking my time instead of homeschooling. Just do the best you can and leave the rest. It'll still be there when you get around to it!

I am learning this the hard way!

Just don't stop! I would you way too much.

Just post and let us know you are still there. I would hate to have to hope a plane across the states!

Blessings!!!!
