In spite of the fact that we're heading to several Doctor appointments in just a little while, we did receive some good news yesterday. The Artist had gone in for some labs due to some worrying symptoms over the last few days. Our Pediatrician was concerned that he might have Juvenile Diabetes. Thankfully, the test came back negative. I was quite concerned due to the fact that one of my younger brothers has Juvenile Diabetes, and it is considered a hereditary disease. He still has to go in for a visit today, and hopefully we'll be able to figure out what's going on.
The Princess has been getting sick to her stomach after eating for about 3 weeks now. She has stopped eating many of her favorite foods like bananas and peanut butter sandwiches. She's always been a very good eater, so I decided it's finally time to get her in for a visit as well. I suspect some sort of acid reflux issue.
Hopefully I'll get some time later to visit my blogging friends. These running around days seem to just fly by. Of course, all days seem to be like that to me anymore. Must be old age creeping up on me,lol.
Have a great day:)

We went to the doctor this morning, too, but it was just a "well-baby" appointment for Daniel. Poor boy had a shot and a finger stick. I hope that your appointment finds solutions to your problems, and that the solutions are very minor problems.
I'm so glad it's not diabetes. That is such a horrible disease, although, of course, there are worse ones.
I'm sorry for all of the sickness in your house..but that is great that it's not diabetes! Maybe it will turn out to be nothing serious.
I don't think it's old age that makes the days fly by...because it's happening to me, too, and I don't like to consider myself "old." I am way behind on all of my blogging and blog reading.
Nikki: Though I was trying to prepare myself mentally for it, it really is a huge relief that is wasn't J.Diabetes. I'm hoping it's just some kind of virus, that would definitely be the best case scenario.
Poor Daniel. I absolutely hated getting the baby shots (though it was painless for me:).
Angela: I just keep remembering how the older people told me when I was younger how time goes faster the older you get. They sure are right. I'm not neccessarily busier than I've ever been, but my mind views the passage of time differently somehow. I can't really explain it.
Aww, so glad the results were negative! I'll be praying for the princess and your family in general. :)
Glad to hear the good report from the Dr.
My daughter had some trouble with acid reflux a couple of years ago. She would just cry that her throat and stomach hurt. She is all better now, though.
Glad the artist is fine. It sounds like you guys have picked up a stomach virus.
Praise the Lord it is NOT j. diabetes! Praying for you guys! Stay strong and many blessings to you!
I'm so glad that the diabetes tests came back negative! I hope your little girl starts to feel better soon.
I hope this comment works. I tried commenting FOUR TIMES yesterday and it wouldn't let me! BOO HOO!
Anyway...
I am glad to hear that he doesn't have diabetes. It runs in our family as well, so I can understand your concern.
I also hope all other appointment went well and were met with easy-to-fix diagnoses.
Email me! I want to work on your header!
I hope they are well now.Definitely hope your son does not have juveile diabetes.Hubby was recently diagnosed and I cant bear to see him go without and I know it will be harder for a child
Glad the tests came back good... hope you're all doing well. Good health is certainly not something to take for granted, especially when it comes to our kiddos! Love, Kristy
